Huawei Mate 40 Will Launch in October With Kirin 1000 Huawei’s Mate series is one of the most anticipated flagships of the year from the OEM. Just like every year, the series is set to launch in the second half of the year. According to recent reports, the flagship series is all set to launch in October this year and will sport the all-new Kirin 1000 5nm flagship chipset. Previously reports suggested that the series will be powered by the company’s own Kirin 1020 SoC. However, the rumors were disregarded later on. Last year, the Chinese tech giant launched its flagship Kirin 990 chipset in early September and launched the Mate 30 series later that month. Microsoft has confirmed in a recent support document that Windows 10 is facing new issues in the latest May 2020 update. The document reveals that the latest versions of Windows 10 are experiencing faulty printer connections. Microsoft said that Windows 10 users might find that their USB printer port has gone missing from the list, this happens when the printer is disconnected while the Windows device is powered off. Once Windows is restarted, the USB printer port will be missing and Windows will not be able to complete any task that requires the port. However, Microsoft says that there is a workaround for this. The company’s latest SuperVOOC 2.0 65W fast charging is currently the fastest charging technology in the market right now. The Chinese brand is now looking to break its own records yet again. A renowned Chinese tipster on Weibo has revealed that Oppo is planning to introduce SuperVOOC 3.0 with an 80W power rating next year. The current generation SuperVOOC 2.0 is present on a handful of Oppo phones such as the Find X2, Reno Ace, Realme X50 Pro, etc. These phones can charge up completely in just 30 minutes, so the 80W power rating is expected to decrease the charge time further by a few minutes. LG is Making a Stretchable Display LG, the South Korean multinational electronics company, has announced that it will develop a stretchable micro light-emitting diode (LED) display by 2024. The tech giant was tasked by the South Korean government to develop a stretchable display panel. The company will take the lead as one of 21 companies and institutions taking part in the project, which is backed by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE). Their end goal is to create stretchable display technology that will have a proposed elongation rate of 20%.
